Horizon Helping Hands

For the neighborhoods of the Horizon Community League great things happen when we work together.

We want to build a stronger community by helping our fellow neighbours.

By working together and helping each other, we can accomplish positive things in our communities.

Our Helping Hands Initiative strives to allow our neighborhoods to become stronger by having neighbours helping neighbours, and by watching out for each other.

What are some examples of some tasks?

• shoveling the driveway of a neighbour who is elderly or has mobility issues
• spreading sand or ice melt
• clearing a sidewalk

These tasks are not a replacement for regular work or services provided by businesses or young entrepreneurs.
