Community Ice Rink

The Horizon Community Ice Rink at Walker Lakes Park is now officially open for the season! The lights will turn on automatically at 5:00 PM and turn off at 10:00 PM, so you can enjoy skating safely after dark.

** JAN 16, 2026: One of the community ice rink lights was damaged, causing a short circuit. The lights will be off until further notice while repairs are completed and a new power inverter is installed. We expect to have the lights back on within the next couple of days. We kindly ask everyone to please be careful around the rink and equipment to help prevent further damage. Thank you for your patience and understanding! **

Please Note:

• There are still some bumps and rough patches on the ice—skate carefully.
• Wear helmets if possible, especially for children.
• Keep an eye on little ones and make sure everyone follows rink rules.
• Be mindful of other skaters and practice safe distancing.
• Let’s keep our community safe while having fun this winter!
