The Green Shacks are coming!

Summer has arrived! Do you know about the City of Edmonton's Green Shack Program? This is a no charge program offered in three locations within the boundaries of the Horizon Community League - just look for the green metal shed (known as the "Green Shack")  

The Program includes crafts, games, sports and free play targeted for children aged 6 to 12. A great way to meet other kids in the neighborhood. 

For our area we have Green Shack programming beginning July 2 to August 21st as follows. Please click one of the communities below for more information on their shack location and hours of operation.

• Walker Park (480 Watt Boulevard SW) Monday to Friday 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Summerside Park (4110 Savaryn Dr. SW)  Monday to Friday 2:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m.
• Orchards (4155 Orchards Drive SW)  Monday to Friday 10:30 to 1:30 p.m.
